Updates

Trying to update homestudy and trying to get our psy evaluation papers after a month. Please pray we can get these done fast and all turn out for the best.....   The little boy we have been praying about has an attempt to adopt by another family. This is hard for us but know God is in control. Either one of two things will happen  either this boy will go to the other family which is sad but  God is in control or their adoption will not go through with him and then we can try and put our request in... Please pray  for these request.   Even if it is not God will for us to adopt him we are praying he will be adopted in a Christian home. 

Grant update.....

We received a grant. It is a blessing to receive this grant. We still have a ways to go and payments to make. Thank you for praying for this grant and continue to pray for the rest of the funds to come in.

Grant paper work in

We got a letter today sayingall grant   paperwork was in... Yeah.  Now comes the hard part waiting and praying. Please pray with us as they seek Gods will on who to give grant money to. Also that we can receive enough for the adoption so we can bring our boy home. 

Psy evaluation

Have our psy. evaluation scheduled in 3 weeks. Pray for us as we do this and the i800a. We need prayers for the adoption process and for the money as we continue. We are still working and praying for the grant next month. 

Update and Colombia

Update waiting on the reference letters to be sent and turned in...  October we will be doing i800a and the psy. Evaluation, also all other non dated paperwork.  Please pray for the money to complete these two steps.   

Also we got word that the agency due to colombia not sending files like promised has decided to not persue colombia but has open mexico as a pilot program.  If you have kept us with us ww always wanted to adopt from mexico but the door was closed after persueing peru and starting to go for colombia the Lord has open the door for us to adopt in Mexico ( the desire of our heart) 

Updates....

We are waiting to receive page 9 of the home study with a correction, so we can send in our I-800a application which is for USA immigration and approval. We have started doing grant applications. Please pray as we need these grants to help pay for our adoption process. We just finished our first application but have looked into a few others. Pray for us to receive this grants as it can pay a large sum of what we owe if not close to all none travel fees.... We may not receive all of it or may not receive any but are praying Gods will be done in this as we know he will provide in his way. Our little boy is waiting for us to bring him home and time is flying by fast. One of the boys we have been praying about just had his 5th birthday. Which makes us sad because we don't want another birthday to pass without the child that God has for us even if it is not this one. Pray for things to move fast, and money to pay the fees.

An email

Never new we would get excited over an email. However we did. Our homestudy has been approved and accepted by our agency. Now we can apply for grants (pray for this) and start our dossier part. Which we haven been gathering alot of it now we can finish and apply for our i800a.

Quick update

We are doing the last minute changes that need to be done on the homestudy so we can get it approved and the sent to Colombia. While we are doing that we have something's that need to get done and working on those so we can have our papers as close to being ready as needed to send to Colombia. We have our second fees and then third fees coming up back to back and asking for your prayer in us saving money and also receiving grants and fundraising enough money to cover these fees. Please pray that we can get it all in and fast. We do have some fundraiser open right now. 1) jewelry 2) olivetreepromise ( search for our name) 3) this one is interesting. We have been encouraged by someone to help people drink more water and if anyone is will to give up a coke for a day the money can be used for the adoption process and it will me multiplied in the giving for our little angel. We have received some files of a couple cute children and are highly praying about one but has delays in his motor skills and is behind in his learning. Pray with us about this little boy that The Lord would show us if he is the one for us to adopt and if he isn't that he will be placed in a Christian home and will become saved.

Second fees..

Our second set of fee are coming due soon. Have a fundraiser that might be interesting... We are asking with this fundraiser to give up buying a drink ( coke, bottle water, etc) for a day. Give that dollar to help with bring home our little ...... ( angel). We are looking at any time between now and valentine. We might be getting a matching grant to help if all works out right. Please let us know if you are willing to help. $1 per person plus if we get the matching grant then we can get the second fees paid. we have looked at some files and highly praying about one child that The Lord keeps bring back into our minds... Pray for us as we seek the lords leading on this.
